Our relationships with out pets are just as powerful as those with people. And even though we don’t see Charlie’s face in this portrait, we can feel the power of his connection to Sarah, who gave him a new life.
“I took Charlie to the people who rescued him from the shelter to take some training classes and learned that Charlie was very, very sick when they found him in the shelter and two days away from being put down. Makes me so sad and very happy. I get emotional every time I look at the pictures, especially after learning of that. You did absolutely wonderful. And the ones that you told me how to pose and at the time I felt akward are by far the very best.
